‎66 years ago my granddad was fighting in the second world war. He or any of his thousands of colleagues could get within 50 miles of Berlin. (He within 4000 miles, he was in Japan) Now I’m sitting 50 yards from the wall with my feet propped up drinking a Heineken and using free wifi given to me by the hotel.
